Mt Wilhelm Trekking

6 Days / 5 Nights

Mt. Wilhelm the highest mountain in Papua New Guinea is 4509 meters above Sea Level after Mount Giluwe which is only about 4368 meters below Sea Level.

From Mt. Wilhlem you get the best spectacular view of the Jimi , Ramu valley and the Madang Province.
From as high as 2817 meters from Betty's Lodge and right down to 600 meters below sea Level you will be able to experience a lot of wonders of PNG, the highlands culture, climate, nature, wildlife and food whilst ascending down Mt. Wilhelm you are able to capture the differences and the similarities.

Imagine your camera can capture different species of the Birds of Paradise, the Regianna Bird of Paradise to Sickle Bill, parrots, butterflies, and lizards.

What a memorable adventure to start from the central highlands and end up on the coast passing over the famous Ramu River.

Remember during your life time adventure trip will be able to experience the culture, nature and wildlife of the coast and the highlands.

It is better to visit while nature and culture is virgin, untouched before roads penetrate the area and civilization spoils the original culture and nature.
